Suspected BSE Case Tests Negative

Ljubljana, 4 March - The final tests carried out on a cow suspected to be infected with the BSE were negative, the Slovenian Veterinary Administration (VURS) said on Tuesday. This means the six-year old cow slaughtered in a Slovenian abattoir was not infected with mad-cow disease.
