Poll Shows SDS Ahead of SD

Ljubljana, 7 March - A public opinion poll commissioned by the government has shown the ruling Slovenian Democrats (SDS) enjoying the support of 26% of the respondents, which puts them 1 percentage point ahead of the Social Democrats (SD), the opposition party whose grip on the No. 1 spot had seemed secure only a few weeks ago.
