Planica: Schlierenzauer Wins First Planica Event with Ease

Planica, 14 March - World Champion Gregor Schlierenzauer won Friday's ski-flying meet at Planica, aided greatly by his spectacular 232.5 metres jump in the first round. Finland's Janne Ahonen took second place, finishing almost 20 points behind the Austrian, whereas Norway's world record holder Bjoern Einar Romoeren was third.
