Ljubljana Bidding for World Book Capital City Title
Ljubljana, 1 April - Ljubljana is seeking to be designated World Book Capital City in 2010. The city authorities submitted an application for the UNESCO-bestowed title to promote reading in the capital, as well as Slovenian books and writers world-wide.
