Government, Teachers Fail to Reach Wage Deal

Ljubljana, 15 April - Negotiations between the Education Ministry and the teachers' trade union (SVIZ) ended without a wage deal on Tuesday. The two groups are to meet again next Tuesday, in a bid to avert a one-day token strike by the teachers, who say that their wages have been continuously dropping in real terms.
