Judges Decline Govt Offer, Push Ahead with Strike

Ljubljana, 18 April - The main committee of the Slovenian Judges' Association decided on Friday to push ahead with preparations for a strike. The decision comes after the committee rejected the government's latest offer of an additional EUR 3m for the elimination of court backlogs. The move has been received with regret by the Justice Ministry.
