Tuerk Urges Constitutional Amendments to Lift Load on Top Court
Ljubljana, 24 April - Slovenian President Danilo Tuerk has asked parliament to amend the Constitution in order to lift the load on Slovenia's highest court. In a rare address to the National Assembly, Tuerk said that the reform of the Constitutional Court "is badly needed", while also calling for broader changes to improve the situation at Slovenia's courts.
