Democracy Hailed at 20th Anniversary of Peoples' Party

Ljubljana, 11 May - The People's Party (SLS) held in Ljubljana on Sunday a ceremony to mark the 20th anniversary of its predecessor, the Farmers' Union (SKZ), which is the first democratic party in Slovenia after World War II. The first SKZ president Ivan Oman told the ceremony that the final result of this "rebellion" was the free, democratic and independent country.
