Jansa Tells MPs Govt Cannot Influence Oil, Food Prices

Ljubljana, 21 May - Prime Minister Janez Jansa told the MPs on Wednesday that the government could not do much about oil and food prices, the two main causes of high inflation. To combat inflation, the government, however, has cut public expenditure, boost employment and is also conducting restrictive policy regarding regulated prices.
