Parliament Amends Auditing Act

Ljubljana, 17 June - Parliament passed on Tuesday amendments to the auditing act which include provisions of the EU directive on mandatory audits of annual and consolidated financial statements. The mandatory audits were introduced to prevent financial scandals which could not be detected through the existing auditing procedures.
