Labour Minister Defends Working Time Directive

Brussels, 24 June - Labour Minister Marjeta Cotman has resolutely rejected all criticism from MEPs regarding the new directives dealing with working time and temporary workers. "The existing working time directive allows for a 78-hour week, and this is exploitation of workers," Cotman told the EU Committee on Employment in Brussels on Tuesday.
