Official: Slovenia Proved Small Country Can Be EU President
Ljubljana, 28 June - European Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic has told STA that the main achievement of Slovenia's stint as EU president was that it did a good job. Slovenia proved that a young and small country can preside over the bloc, Lenarcic said in an interview at the end of the country's six months at the helm of the EU.
