Slovenian Armed Forces (SAF) Day was celebrated on Saturday, with the country remembering the day in 1991 when the first generation of Slovenian conscripts started training. A series of dynamic demonstrations were staged by soldiers around Stožice Arena in Ljubljana in the morning was followed by a ceremony and a concert in the evening.

An investigation has been launched into suspected abuse of office by former director of the Office for Money Laundering Prevention Damjan Žugelj over a massive investigation reportedly connected to an alleged deal between the then PM Janez Janša and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, report news portals N1 and Necenzurirano.
