COALITION AGREEMENT: Defence Budget in For Cut

Ljubljana, 18 November - The new government has pledged to cut the defence budget to 1.5% of GDP despite Slovenia's obligations to NATO, which call for the figure to stand at 2%. The measure is part of building an "economical army", which will also be able to provide a high degree of security and perform in various roles, including in crisis response.
