Parliament Fails to Pass Changes to Attorneys Act

Ljubljana, 17 July - Parliament failed on Thursday to pass due to a lack of quorom amendments to the attorneys act which would prevent judges and prosecutors from directly joining the ranks of lawyers. All opposition parties bar the National Party (SNS) refused to participate in the vote, which is to be repeated at a later session.
