Tourist Association Says Toll Sticker Checks Should Be Friendlier
Ljubljana, 5 August - Some 3,000 drivers, mostly foreigners, have been fined between 300 and 800 euros for not buying toll stickers that became mandatory on Slovenian motorways on 1 July. The Tourist Association is now afraid that overzealous sanctioning might damage Slovenia's image as a tourist-friendly country.
