Slovenia Calls for Peace in Georgia

Ljubljana, 8 August - Slovenia urged on Friday the sides in the conflict between Georgia and its breakaway province South Ossetia to lay weapons aside and start negotiating. The Foreign Ministry expressed its concern over the escalating violence jeopardising the stability in the region.
