Police Feels Discriminated Against, Mulling Strike

Ljubljana, 25 August - The strike committee of the Police Trade Union met on Monday, expressing its expectation that Public Administration Minister Gregor Virant and Police Commissioner Joze Romsek will respond to its call to end what they see as a discriminatory wage policy for police officers compared to soldiers. The government said it was looking for solutions.
