Election Debate Focuses on Dubious Takeovers, Contracting

Ljubljana, 28 August - Dubious takeovers and state contracts were the key topics of the first televised election debate of the heads of parliamentary parties. Leader of the ruling Democrats (SDS) Janez Jansa believes those involved in suspect takeovers should face justice, while opposition SocDems leader Borut Pahor questioned the effectiveness of the authorities.
