MEP Wonders Why Italy Doesn't Move Terminals to Venetian Lagoon

Brussels, 2 September - Speaking at the plenary session of the European Parliament on Monday, Slovenian MEP Jelko Kacin (ALDE/LDS) protested vehemently against Italy's gas terminal plans in the Gulf of Trieste. He said constructing a terminal only five miles away from the Slovenian coast was like doing it in the Venetian Lagoon.
