Defence Deal Debate Splits Parliament along Party Lines

Ljubljana, 9 September - The National Assembly split along party lines in Tuesday's debate about corruption allegations in Slovenia's biggest defence purchase. The opposition said the extraordinary session was an election stunt and the coalition parties called for evidence of allegations that the prime minister had received bribes.
