SocDem's Foreign Minister Candidate Withdraws

Ljubljana, 12 September - Diplomat Ciril Stokelj, whom the opposition Social Democrats (SD) envisaged as the foreign minister in case they succeeded in becoming the ruling party after the general election, on Thursday withdrew his name from the party's list of possible ministers and opted to remain at his post in the European Parliament, the SD said in a press release.
