Lehman Brothers Bankruptcy Deals Additional Blow to LJSE

Ljubljana, 15 September - Reports that US banking giant Lehman Brothers would declare bankruptcy also affected the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Monday, sending its main indices deep into red territory. Thirty minutes before market closure the benchmark SBI 20 was 3.89% (at 6,545.21 points) lower than last Friday, whereas the SBI TOP blue chip index lost 4.55% (1,459.54).
