Wolf: Earlier Defence Contract Agreed within LibDem Party

Ljubljana, 16 September - Walter Wolf, whom a Finnish TV report accused of acting as a middleman in the 2006 Patria-Slovenia defence deal, told the Slovenian public broadcaster late on Monday that a similar deal in 1998 was done without a tender; instead, the then LibDem-led government simply agreed to buy from Sistemska tehnika, which lost to Patria in the 2006 tender.
