Greenhouse Gas Emissions Rise 0.6% in 2006

Ljubljana, 28 September - Emissions of greenhouse gases in Slovenia increased by 0.6% in 2006 compared to the year before, standing at 20.59 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent, which is also 1.2% more than in the base year, 1986, the National Statistics office said on Sunday.
