Phytopharmaceutical Substances Used on 92% of Slovenian Wheat

Ljubljana, 29 September - Wheat grew on 32,858 hectares of fields in 2007, which is six per cent of all farming land used in Slovenia, 18% of all the fields and gardens, and 32% of all grain-growing land. Phytopharmaceutical substances were used on 92% of the fields with wheat, the National Statistics Office wrote on Monday.
