Slovenian Stocks Down as US Congress Rejects Bailout Plan
Ljubljana, 30 September - Main indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange tumbled on Tuesday in the wake of the US Congress's rejection of the US$ 700bn rescue plan on Monday. The main market SBI 20 index lost 265.36 points (4.11%) to 6,189.42, while the SBI TOP index of the ten biggest names dipped 62.95 points (4.39%) to 1,372.09.
