Central Bank Calms Fears, Says Banking System Works

Ljubljana/Luxembourg, 6 October - The Slovenian central bank on Monday moved to alleviate fears over the escalation of the global financial crisis, saying that the Slovenian banking system was working smoothly and banks were not yet feeling the impact of the crunch. All deposits and savings are safe, Banka Slovenije said.
