Govt Unofficially Nominates Rupel for Ambassador to Austria

Ljubljana, 14 October - The commercial broadcaster POP TV reported on Tuesday that the government had nominated the outgoing Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel for Slovenia's new ambassador to Vienna. While government officials declined to comment, the likely PM-designate, Borut Pahor, told the POP TV that Rupel met the requirements for the job.
