Croatian President Sees Easing of Tensions with Slovenia

Zagreb, 24 November - Croatian President Stipe Mesic commended the new Slovenian government Monday for a change of tone in statements about Croatia. "From former foreign minister Dimitrij Rupel we always heard only statements that heightened bilateral tensions, now statements from Ljubljana are easing tensions," Mesic told Croatian radio.
