Record Number of HIV Cases Discovered in 2008

Ljubljana, 27 November - Organisers of events planned in Slovenia on World AIDS Day, observed on 1 December, pointed out on Thursday that the HIV infection rate in Slovenia is steadily increasing. While 35 new HIV cases were discovered on average between 2005 and 2007, 46 have already been diagnosed this year.
