Govt Adopts Regulation on Bank Guarantees

Ljubljana, 4 December - The government adopted on Thursday a regulation setting down criteria for banks which want to use EUR 12bn in state guarantees until 2010. Banks will have to pay fees depending on their rating, while the guarantees will be confirmed by government decree at the proposal of the Finance Ministry.
