Russia Cut Gas to Send Message to the West, Vecer Says

Maribor, 10 January - The Maribor-based daily Vecer says in Saturday's commentary that it is not in the interest of Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin that pipelines supplying gas to the EU are closed for a long time and that he only wanted to achieve a political goal and show that the West must listen to Russia more.
