SLS Proposes Postponement of Vote on Croatia's NATO Accession

Ljubljana, 14 January - After all coalition parties agreed to back Croatia's NATO accession in a vote in parliament at the end of this month, the opposition People's Party (SLS) suggested on Wednesday that the decision in parliament be postponed. Support of a part of the opposition is vital for the two-thirds majority needed to ratify Croatia's accession.
