Commission Confirms Ahtisaari Potential Mediator
Brussels, 23 January - A spokesperson for the European enlargement commissioner confirmed in Brussels on Friday that Commissioner Olli Rehn had asked Nobel Peace Prize laureate Maarti Ahtisaari whether he would be available to chair a senior expert group that would help Slovenia and Croatia resolve their border dispute.
