Show Traces History of Prekmurje Jews

Maribor, 28 January - The north-easternmost Slovenian region was home to quite a large community of Jews in the 19th century, but the turbulence of World War I and in particular deportations to Nazi death camps in World War II all but wiped them out. Now a display at the Maribor Synagogue traces the history of Prekmurje Jews.
