Number of Unemployed up 11.6% in January

Ljubljana, 9 February - The number of unemployed persons at the end of January stood at 73,911, which is 11.6% up over December 2008 and up 6.7% on January 2008, the national Employment Service said on Monday. This is the highest number of registered unemployed persons after March 2007.
