SSN President Resigns, Referendum Initiative Stays

Ljubljana, 19 February - The president of the Party of the Slovenian Nation (SSN) Zdenko Vinkov Vincenc told the press after Thursday's meeting with Prime Minister Borut Pahor that the party council had decided to push ahead with proceedings for a referendum on Croatia's NATO accession. Vincenc disagrees with the council and has stepped down.
