Collection of Signatures for NATO Referendum Starts Friday

Ljubljana, 19 February - Parliament Speaker Pavel Gantar decreed Thursday that the proponents of a referendum on Croatia's NATO accession start collecting the 40.000 signatures needed to call the referendum on Friday. The deadline expires on 26 March, which would still give Slovenia enough time to complete the ratification process.
