Speaker: Drnovsek Was Icon of Slovenian Politics
Ljubljana, 24 February - Parliament Speaker Pavel Gantar called Former President Janez Drnovsek an "icon of Slovenian politics" at a ceremony marking the first anniversary of his death on Monday. He stressed that Drnovsek was a man who left politics undefeated and believed that the politics could be built on values and not only on bare calculations of power and interests.
