Dignitary Says Govt Has Shown Understanding for Church

Ljubljana, 4 March - A leading dignitary of the Roman Catholic Church in Slovenia has said that the incumbent government has in several instances shown "great understanding for our needs". Maribor Ancillary Bishop Anton Stres also called on people not to contribute signatures in support of a referendum on Croatia's membership of NATO.
