Minister: Negative Growth Worrying, Not Unexpected

Ljubljana, 9 March - Economy Minister Matej Lahovnik has stressed that the economic contraction is worrying although not entirely unexpected. "As a small and open economy Slovenia is heavily reliant on exports," said Lahovnik in response to data that show Slovenia's economy shrunk by 0.8% in the final quarter of 2008.
