Proposal Cutting National Councillors' Pay Endorsed

Ljubljana, 11 March - The National Council, the upper chamber of parliament, on Wednesday almost unanimously endorsed a proposal lowering their attendance fees by 4% for a one-year period. The move, introduced as part of a series of government-sponsored savings measures, is expected to save about EUR 24,000.
