Ljubljana UKC Carries Out Double Transplantation

Ljubljana, 12 March - The Ljubljana UKC Hospital successfully carried out its first transplantation of two organs to one patient in one procedure in February. The 54-year-old with a new kidney and pancreas feels very well and does not need insulin or dialysis any more, surgeon Ales Tomazic said at a press conference on Thursday.
