EU Court Rules against Slovenia in Environment Directive Case

Luxembourg, 12 March - The Court of Justice of the European Communities ruled in Luxembourg on Thursday that Slovenia had failed to properly transpose the EU environmental liability directive to its national legislation on time. The European Commission, which has filed a complaint, expressed hope that Slovenia will respect the court's ruling as soon as possible.
