Historian: Slovenia Should not Forget Its Resistance

Ljubljana, 13 March - The liberation struggle created Slovenia, and it would be a great mistake to give up the confidence stemming from this because of post-WWII killings, historian Joze Pirjevec told political weekly Mladina. In his opinion, Slovenia would not be an independent state today if Slovenians had not stood up against the occupying forces.
