Unicredit Banka Slovenija Ups Profit and Total Assets

Ljubljana, 18 March - Unicredit Banka Slovenija, the Slovenian subsidiary of the Unicredit Group, posted a pre-tax profit of EUR 23.5m in 2008, a 19.4% increase over 2007, the bank reported on Wednesday. Unicredit's total assets were up by 36% to almost EUR 3bn, which gives the bank fourth place in Slovenia in terms of market share.
