Minister Says Budget Cuts Big Blow to Defence

Ljubljana, 18 March - Defence Minister Ljubica Jelusic told the parliamentary Defence Committee on Wednesday that a 6.6% cut in defence budget envisaged in the 2009 supplementary budget bill was a "big blow". She suggested that any further cuts would endanger security and efficiency of the Slovenian Armed Forces.
