Vlacic Says Appointment of Railway Boss Irrevocable

Brussels, 19 March - Responding to the prime minister's concern over the appointment of the general manager of the national railway operator without a public tender, Transport Minister Patrick Vlacic said Thursday that this was a decision of the supervisors that the government cannot change. The only thing the government can do is dismiss the supervisors, he added.
