Reinsurer Sava Re Ends 2008 with Loss of EUR 6.7M

Ljubljana, 31 March - Reinsurer Sava Re ended last year with EUR 6.7m of net loss, which is largely a consequence of the deteriorated situation on the financial markets and an extremely high payouts due to summer storms. Impairment of financial investments for 2008 stood at EUR 12.6m, Sava Re CEO Zvonko Ivanusic told the press in Ljubljana on Tuesday.
